From the 7th to the 12th of June 2022, an important event for Marbella will take place, the San Bernabé Fair and Festivities, in honour of its Patron Saint, whose feast day is the 11th of June.

This local festivity kicks off on the 5th of June with the traditional pilgrimage of the Patron Saint. This popular festival is held near the hermitage on the day of the saint’s religious festivity.

Both, the pilgrimage and the fair promise a great atmosphere of singing, dancing and traditional food. In addition to a varied programming of activities and concerts.

Inauguration of the fair

Don’t miss the lighting of the fair’s arch and the fireworks with music.

• Place: Inauguration of the arch at the entrance to the Zona de Arroyo II / fireworks on the beach of the lighthouse 

Day Fair

Enjoy the atmosphere with people, music, dance and gastronomy that you can taste in the bars.

• Starts: 8th June
• Time: from 13:00 hours.
• Place: Alameda Park and Avenida del Mar.

Night Fair

A fair that both adults and grown-ups love because of the number of rides and attractions. In addition, on the 9th the Children’s Day is celebrated and there will be special offers on the rides.

Musical performances

If you feel like going to a concert, you can enjoy a good line-up for free. 

A programme of musical performances has been organised with 6 concerts on Friday 10th, 11th and 12th at 23:00 in the old municipal stand.

Procession

Have you ever seen a religious procession? If you haven’t experienced it before, it’s something surprising. You can see the one in honour of the Patron Saint San Bernabé.

Fun for children

Not only the night fair with the rides and attractions will delight the children, on the 12th of June there will be a special programme for children on the Pablo Ráez Boulevard, which will include children’s entertainment shows, bouncy castles with water and more attractions.

End of the fair

And if you like history, the finale will be a reenactment of the historic entry of King Ferdinand the Catholic into Marbella on 11 June 1485.
